|RECYCLING - WEDNESDAYS|
Newspapers, magazines, brochures, office paper, junk mail (remove plastic wrapping), telephone directories, catalogues
cardboard, thin card, cereal packets, food packaging sleeves, crushed cardboard boxes, toilet roll holders etc;
PLASTIC BOTTLES,CANS AND GLASS
Food and drinks cans, drinks bottles, sauce and food jars and any clear, green, brown or blue glass bottles and containers. Please take the tops off the plastic bottles, rinse and squash them.
Cooked or uncooked food waste. Meat, vegetables, cereals, bread, rice, pasta, peelings, bones etc. No pet food or animal waste.

|Non recyclable household waste can be placed in the grey wheelie bin. Garden waste in the Green bin. Non recyclable waste grey and green is collected on Thursday every other week.|
Note: Collections are one day later when there is a Bank Holiday in the week.
The village has a Sub-Post Office which is located within the E.Bulled & Sons store which is located close to the Square in East Street.

For fautly street lights ring Devon County Council on 0345 155104 or email email@example.com. Each street light has a number on it. If you quote this number, it will help get the matter dealt with more quickly.
|OVER 60's LUNCHEON CLUB|
This is a service provided to villagers who are over 60. The lunches are cooked by volunteers and the operation is non profit making.
Meals are served at 12:30pm on Wednesdays except during August at the Victory Memorial Hall. The cost is £3, and there are normally nearly 2 dozen present. The Christmas lunch is free and normal attendees can bring a guest.
